Shivaji Chakraborty

Shivaji Chakraborty  leads and manages Measurement and Verification (M&V)of energy efficiency project savings linked to the smart grid, ensuring robust risk and assurance evaluation, regulatory approvals, and sound revenue models. With over two decades of experience in the energy and environmental industry, He has developed deep expertise in environmental monitoring, industrial hygiene, GHG accounting and verification, life-cycle analysis, waste management, and carbon abatement projects. He is currently based in Saudi Arabia working in the Middle East for over 10years.

Having developed climate change methodology in the past, he uses his experience in mentoring and guides project managers, program managers, and energy engineers on M&V requirements and spearheads innovative approaches and techniques to ensure the assurance of savings throughout project performance. His professional experience includes cross-country engagements across South East Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, delivering environmental and energy services to a wide range of sectors. He is a Certified Energy Auditor (Ministry of Power, India), CMVP and PMVA and a Lead Auditor for ISO 50001, ISO 14064 and ISO 14001. Shivaji is an experienced trainer in Energy Management, Environment Management, GHG accounting, and Carbon Audits. He remains strongly committed to driving excellence in the field of Sustainability.
