EVO

Following its policies and procedures, Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) is launching today the five-year statutory review of the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) Core Concepts and related application guides.

EVO is inviting comments from the international M&V community, including individuals, institutions, and organizations that may wish to make recommendations to improve the IPMVP Core Concepts. The statutory review also includes the following application guides: Uncertainty Assessment for IPMVP, Measurement and Verification Issues and Examples, and Renewables Application Guide.

After the closing of this 60-day call for comments, IPMVP Committee members will review and analyze comments in various task groups. If and as needed, further consultation on specific issues may be issued over the upcoming months.

If you are interested in participating more actively in this review process and willing to share your expertise with other M&V specialists, we would like to hear from you. Please let us know your interest before May 1ST, 2020, by indicating which areas or topics interest you the most. You may send your expression of interest to Monica Pérez Ortiz at mqperezo@evo-world.org

All proposed modifications will be subject to consensus recommendations by task groups and sub-committee members for review by the full IPMVP Committee. Final recommendations will be submitted for approval by the Board of Directors.

It is expected that the updated Core Concepts and application guides will be released in the second half of 2021.
