Livia Miethke Morais

• Livia Miethke Morais chairs the IEEFP Committee and is Senior Sustainable Energy Finance Specialist at BASE, where she develops and implements projects and programmes for financing sustainable energies with multilateral development banks, UN agencies and other international organizations since 2018. She is enthusiastic about the energy transition to tackle climate change and mobilizing the financial resources through innovative financing mechanism and business models towards it.

  Livia has gathered almost 15 years of international experience in the field of sustainability, having previously worked for 5 in environmental consultancy in Brazil and at the World Bank Environment and Natural Resources Department in Washington DC. She has a multidisciplinary background in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo (BRA) with a MEng. in Energy and Environmental Management in Developing Countries of the Europa Universität Flensburg (GER) and an MBA of the Bristol Business School (UK).
