e.Valuation Author Guidelines e.Valuation is an exciting online publication from the Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) featuring news, and articles and commentary from industry thought leaders.
What we're looking for: Because our readers are well educated - and well informed - your article must offer some insight into a current issue facing the efficiency M&V industry. It may be a well-thought-out opinion, commentary or an analysis with supporting data or facts. You may submit articles that present case studies, research results or technological advances, but they must be written in an engaging, informative manner. We will not publish strictly promotional material, i.e. your company, product or service should NOT be the focus of your article.
Once published, readers can leave feedback about your articles and you can respond to this feedback.
Format: Your article should be between 500 and 3000 words. We will consider articles that are longer; however, our electronic format lends itself better to shorter articles. Your article should include an interesting, creative headline and subheads to break up longer articles. You may include figures and charts, but be aware that they may not reproduce well online. Size limits for figures and charts is 460 pixels wide. There will be space available for an author biography. There is no limit on length for the biography; however, the biography should be about you, rather than your company.

After submitting an article, you will receive e-mail verification that your submission has been received. We will notify you within three to four weeks to let you know if your article has been accepted.

Once your article has been accepted: Once your article has been accepted we will email you an Article Publication Checklist (located below). We publish e.Valuation quarterly. Once accepted, it may take as long as 3 months for your article to be published. The day your article is published in e.Valuation, we will send you an email so you can view your article.
